“When Paintings Dream of Veronese Green” was the title of a show from the 90’s in our former Broadway space, and it would apply again nicely to this exhibition. These paintings transport the viewer to a different place. Be they the “Turner like” ephemeral landscapes of Antonio Murado, Lydia Dona’s new swirls of movement and explosive color, the intricate figurative abstractions of Haeri You, telling you a very personal story, or Les Rogers’ sublime variations of Color Field painting, demonstrating a fresh and personal approach, the works all invite viewers to an enchanting “Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
